Piclo’s new marketplace for secondary trading is now open to Capacity Market Providers to register

As part of the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) FleX competition, Piclo has collaborated with National Grid ESO and Flex Providers across the energy sector to develop an online exchange for flexibility markets. This is the first blog of a two-part series exploring its progress.

Last week, Northern Ireland Electricity Networks (NIE Networks) published their first-ever flexibility service competitions, meaning Flex Providers with assets located in Northern Ireland now have the opportunity to earn revenue from DSO flexibility competitions.
